Rustoleum Cabinet Paint
Rustoleum cabinet paint can be used to good effect to transform your old cabinet into one that looks fresh, appealing and attractive. It does not take too much time to complete the rustoleum cabinet paint work and in fact the job can be finished in a matter of four days or so.
Things you will need:

- De-glosser
- Two and half inch angled brush
- Paint
- glaze
- Primer

1. Remove cabinet doors
The first thing that you need to do is remove all the cabinet doors from their frames. In addition, it is also important to take out all the hardware from your cabinet and then take some wood putty and use it to fill the holes in the cabinet.
2. Scrub both sides of the doors, drawer fronts and face frame
The next step involves scrubbing both sides of the doors of the cabinet and the same has to be done with the drawer fronts and the face frames. Make use of a deglosser and a scrubbing pad and then wait patiently for the deglosser to completely dry out before moving on to the next step. At the very least, it is important to allow a minimum of one hour for the deglosser to dry out completely.
3. Brush bond coat on the doors
The third step involves brushing a layer of the bond coat on to the cabinet doors, the drawers as well as frames. When applying the bond coat, be sure to stroke with a two and a half inch angled brush and use strokes that are long and even. Wait for at least twelve hours for the coat to dry out completely. After that, apply a second coat of bond coat over the first coat. Be sure that you apply the bond coat in an even manner and do not let any drips or runs in your paint. Wait another twelve hours for the second coat to dry up completely.
4. Paint a coat of glaze
If you want, you can also now paint a coat of glaze. This step is optional. Once done, the coat will help in darkening the color of the bond coat and the glaze also catches in the cracks and crevices and wood grain and in doing so will create a very nice finish. After applying the glaze, wipe off any of it that is not wanted and do so immediately following the application of the glaze. Wait for eight hours for the glaze to dry up.
Now, brush a clear top-coat over the cabinet. When you apply this topcoat, it will help in protecting as well as hardening over the paint and the glaze. Allow twenty-four hours for this coat to dry up and then proceed further.
Once this step has been done, you can then hang the doors back onto the cabinet. Next, take out the hardware that you had removed at the outset and reattach it back and at the same time, if it is desired, one can also add new pulls and knobs to make the cabinet look even better. This is all that it takes to complete the rustoleum cabinet paint work.
